About Us

In 1963, the 35-year-old Danish shoemaker Karl Toosbuy founded the predecessor of the ECCO brand Venus. The establishment of the brand stems from Toosbuy's keen instinct that a pleasant walk should be declining and adequacy, not cutting the foot. He noticed a young group that was rebellious at the time and did not want to accept the dogma of his parents. They are pursuing freedom, eager to get out of shackles, and will never wear shoes that are as stiff and conservative as their parents. What they are looking for is a distinctive and innovative comfortable shoe. From that time onwards, we insisted on the best ECCO concept to make the small factories in southern Denmark develop into today's world-class footwear group. The product line includes leisure series, formal wear series, outdoor series, sports series, golf and children's series. ECCO's strict control over the quality of leather has made ECCO's ranch one of the world's three largest leather supply factories and has become a source of leather for major international brands. Each pair of ECCO shoes requires 400 processes, 100 hands of hard work, produced in five factories in the world's finest leather first manufacturing plant, and at the same time insist on the Nordic designers to design shoes for global consumption through such a rigorous process. The footprint of ECCO has so far spread all over the world. In Europe, it is almost a pair of people. And from the European continent to the Americas at one stroke, and in recent years in Asia, set off a new style of comfortable and casual style with the concept of Style. ECCO is one of the few companies in the world that has fully achieved the vertical integration of resources - adopting a top-down business model - that is, from the production of leather raw materials to design and development and product manufacturing, each of which is directly supervised by ECCO. ECCO is the only footwear manufacturer in the world that owns and manages every step of the manufacturing process. ECCO employees are the source of product vitality: from design, development, manufacturing, to sales, every detail is handled by them. ECCO takes the human foot as the starting point for everything, and quality is the key to the most attention! Each foot consists of 26 bones, 20 muscles, and 112 ligaments. If they are required to work normally for the human body, they must always be active. Normal people take about 15,000 steps a day, and every step we take is twice the weight of our heels; and our feet are rid of about 200 milliliters of sweat every day. The ECCO, on the other hand, is committed to making everybody walk happily. Every visible and invisible manufacturing detail is based on foot comfort. The Danish prince Philip is wearing his own ECCO and has experienced 3,500 kilometers of outdoor adventures. This makes ECCO proud to have a reputation as a Danish aristocratic brand. ECCO brand got its name When the company was founded in 1963, it was named after the feminine Venus. When the company decided to produce men's shoes at the same time and succeeded, it was urgent to find new company names and logos. The new name should be international and easy to identify. The new name should be easy to read, easy to remember, and easy to understand. So the name EKKO was produced it was then replaced by ECCO, which is more convenient for drawing extensions. If you shout ECCO in the mountains, you will hear an echo echo. ECCO was chosen because it symbolized what ECCO wanted. Let ECCO's shoemaking technology and extreme comfort smooth the world.
